I am creating events in a geonet group calendar and want group members to be emailed when a new event is posted. I would like the details of the meeting to only be visible to those emailed.
Any ideas of how to do this?
Sorry to be just now seeing this. You can create a private group and only those you invite will see the event. The details of the event should also be sent to the user when you invite. Now if you want to create an event in a group where everyone is invited, the only way that they would be notified is if they follow the group and have their preferences set to get Inbox/Email notifications for the group.
