As I am working on adding Rasters to my mosaic dataset..everything was fine until I did something wrong...
How do I get my raster back on ?
Try zooming in much farther. Does the newly added raster appear? If so, the raster did indeed make it into the mosaic dataset, but it does not display at the zoomed out scale. Build Overviews to create lower resolution rasters that display at lower scales.
Do I need to set the Scale to build the overviews ?
You should be able to use the default values to create all levels of overviews. If you know which specific levels you want, you can control that through Define Overviews and Build Overviews to save time, but you probably want all levels.
Can you see the white box...How do I fix it ? how can do I control which one to overlaps like you see...
Have you tried Set Mosaic Dataset Properties? Specifically, set the mosaic operator, probably to MAX.
Oh, probably MIN actually. The white is likely 255 (or 255,255,255) or some other high number, so get around it by choosing the MIN value..
see if you see something abnormal here ?
I'm just curious, why are the SOrder and SLevelPS fields <null> for the highlighted one, when the others with a similar naming scheme have values?
Lisa, I have delete that imagery and doing re-do however, I found this information that I might need to do ...Everything you ever wanted to know about ordering in mosaic datasets | ArcGIS Blog
