Will there ever be a collector app for windows OS tablets

Will there ever be a collector app for windows tablets.

I currently have win 8 tablets from Panasonic the have constant upload errors with Arc Mobile for windows.  ESRI keeps saying it is developing collector for windows but no new information is coming out.  Dose this mean that the project has been dropped.  If so please tell us.

Yes, development is underway on a collector Windows Store App and a Windows Phone App.

Has anyone heard when it might be released?  We're trying to do some planning so it's important for us to know if it is next week or next year.  Even the expected quarter would help. Thanks.

The goal is for the summer but this date is subject to change. If you are interested in a possible beta release, shoot an email to Collector4ArcGIS@esri.com.
