Determining the Length of Roads in a given area

Hi All, I am just starting out with maptitude software and working my way through some of the tutorials, I am looking to select an area and calculate the length of the roads/streets in the given area. Firstly is this possible and if so how would I go about this? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Amanda - this is the ESRi forum for all things ArcGIS. Maptitude is not an ESRI product so you may be better asking this somewhere else.

Owen Earley‌, although I agree that GeoNet is really about Esri and ArcGIS, the GeoNet home page does say "all things geo."

Maybe the intern was excited and got a bit carried away the scope statement, but one could argue Esri did open the door to non-Esri questions, not that one should expect to get many responses.
