As you all know, through the ConnectED initiative, the White House has challenged industries to help transform education. In support of ConnectED, Jack Dangermond stepped up to the challenge and donated an ArcGIS Online Organization account to every U.S. K-12 school.
For 27 years, Bishop Dunne Catholic School in Dallas has sponsored the GeoTech conference and this year is focusing its sessions on ArcGIS Online. As the premier online mapping tool that helps teachers and students go places and easily see patterns in data, the GeoTech sessions will guide teachers to quickly become comfortable with this free, powerful online mapping tool utilizing only a web browser. If conference attendees are comfortable with the basic uses of ArcGIS Online, there will be sessions that will focus on ArcGIS Online analysis tools, Organization setup and maintenance, Story Map creation, and even a LIDAR session. Don’t miss this powerhouse event of the year!
