how do you control which content appears in the ArcGIS Online Gallery?

Essentially all my content appears in the gallery. That includes feature layers, service definitions, maps, etc.

You need to create a group for your gallery (I use one called featured content). Then under your organization settings select the group you have just made.

When you publish something that you want to appear in the gallery make sure you share it with the group
