Limitations for time enabled data in ArcGIS online

I have time-enabled point data with approximately 360 points for events that span a four year period.  Each point has a start date and an end date.  I am able to display the data in one day increments using desktop, but when I try to view it online, the best I can achieve is one-week increments.  I need to be able to display it day-by-day.

Has anyone else encountered similar limitations?

I have the same issue. I have 4500+ points covering a 3 year period and the one week intervals are inadequate. As well, there seems to be a slight lag between time periods so that the points end up flashing. I have been searching for a more suitable way to display time enabled data online but have had little luck. ArcMap seems to have the best controls of all the Esri products but even that is limited.
