I am attempting to publish an existing MXD as a map services through my ArcGIS Server 10.2.2 instance. The service appears to publish fine - passes through analyze with some warnings (symbology related) but no errors, no error messages in the publishing process. However, when I load the map service into ArcMap, preview the service in ArcCatalog, attempt to view the service through ArcGIS Server (JS Viewer, ArcGIS online, etc), the map is blank. The service definition shows all of the content, the legend is even present. I am wondering why I cannot see my service?
I did find that if I generate a cache for the service I can see the cached content, but without the cache, the map is blank. I cannot find any errors in the server log, or any other indication that something is wrong in the service. At a loss at the moment...
