I've been putting of renewing my Home Use software so I can get licensed for ArcGIS Desktop 10.3, and maybe another 100 credits of ArcGIS Online, and maybe maybe ArcGIS Pro. Anybody know the scoop?
Actually the answer to @Stephen Char's question is yes, ArcGIS for Home Use will include ArcGIS Pro. ArcGIS for Home Use already includes one named user account and 100 service credits. And Esri recently revised the license so that customers who purchase ArcGIS for Home Use will receive software upgrades that are released during their 12-month term license.
I don't believe it will be included. The license for ArcGIS Pro requires that your have an ArcGIS Online Organization account.
Could someone from ArcGIS Pro or What's New in ArcGIS confirm this information?
I have ArcGIS Home package with Pro. I can't use it because I do not have an ArcGIS Online Organizational Account. Is there something that I have to do to activate it?
Hi Chris Schreiber. Thanks for your question! I looked at your subscription and I believe you should have received an activation link for your ArcGIS Online organization back in October. I can follow-up with more detail about which email address was used in a personal message if you'd like. Otherwise, if you've activated your org, you would need to assign yourself a Pro license from within ArcGIS Online (on the Manage Licenses tab) and then it will be possible to login to Pro. Does this help? Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
