I have a simple question.
How translate City Engine Web Viewer?
The language displayed in CEWebViewer is defined by the language that's chosen in the browser the viewer runs in. This way the user should always get the viewer translated in it's preferred language.
See screenshots below (Firefox):
* change the language to pt-br,
* restarted Firefox
* CEWebViewer is localized in pt-br
will that work for you? Or do you have a different need for changing the displayed language?
Do you mean in the 'language' sense of translation ?
Currently, a few things are supposed to be translated by the browser itself, but as far as I know, there's no 'localization' (language adaption) planned.
Does that answer your question ?

Hi Mr Matthias
I need translate in pt-br or pt-pt Buttons and Menus for example in CE Viewer.
I found a nls Folder in a viewer, but i don't understand how it works.
can you be more specific which part you need to translate (please add a screenshot), and why?
Is a translation missing, or bad?
The translation in pt-br or pt-pt folders is perfect for me.
I need instructions for "replace" ou "change" a language in CE viewer
See attached : Menus and buttons are in english and my client want in Portuguese.
Best regards from ESRI Angola.
Thank you for your response.
I Tried your instructions:
But dont work.
My Windows is in english and had install a Firefox pt-PT version and... dont work again.
I tried in another computer: Windows in Portuguese (pt-PT and Firefox in Portuguese(pt-PT and... Work perfectly
The windows english version is a possible problem?
Have a nice Weekend.
I tried change to pt-BR option in Firefox and now finally works perfect.
The problems is:
pt-PT dont work in the Windows (english version) I think
Thanks for all
I can confirm that setting pt as language in firefox results in english strings in viewer.
I added a bug, we plan to fix this in the next release.
As a workaround, using Chrome, it works for both pt-pt and pt-br
Thanks for pointing this out.
