Hi, I'm new to anything GIS related. I've flagged this question as 'geonet community' but I really don't know what to flag it as.
As a side aspect of my dissertation, I would like to take a basic global map of continents (without countries) and identify cities without programming. For example if I list Cape Town 6 times & London 1 time, I would like the star for Cape Town to be proportionally larger or hotter than London. Even more important is simply the ability for a map to identify cities that I list 1 or more times. Is this the kind of thing arcGIS or another aspect of esri can do? Also, very importantly, I need to know the cost.
