Hi There

I'm trying to create a BSQ file in the Model Builder. This will only work if the data frame is in a geographic coordinated system. But my purposes I'm translating a polygon that is in a projected coordinate system. If I do this in ArcMap and have my data frame in a geographic coordinated system then it will work. If it is projected it will. I want to do the same in ArcCatalog so I can repeat multiple iterations. How can I change the coordinate system of the data frame in ArcCatalog so I can achieve this?

Thanks

ArcCatalog doesn't have a coordinate system. You could add the Project Tool to create a new data layer that's using a geographic coordinate system to your model and then do the conversion on the output from that tool.

Hi Melita

Thanks for your response

I did try to project the shape in a Geographic coordinate system first, then a Projected coordinate system. But it still has the same effect
