How to modelize a water surface in CityEngine ?

Generally in the model view, people apply a texture to a surface with a bump map. Just Google water bump map textures and lots of general options appear. You can apply a bump map somewhat like a normal texture, see help link below.

For web scenes we have an active water rule, while you might need another jpg, the general code is attached.

Attached is a cga rule that applies a water texture, and it names the material so that in web scenes the water is animated. The texture is also attached. I have no idea where the water image came from, or if it is owned by anyone.
