Hi All,
When i try to add a layer to my map control from Oracle Spatial it gets the data extent by using an SDO_AGGR_MBR query on the data. This takes too long on a large table. Is there anyway to set the extents programatically? I have tried to set the layer's spatialreference to the same as the map before adding it, but it still goes back to the database to calculate the spatial extents of the data.
I am using Oracle 11g R2 and ArcObjects 10.2.2
