Problem: Shapefile path disapears

Hi!

I'm having problems with the shapefiles paths we're working.

The shapefiles and the projects are being saved in an server, so everyone in the office can have access to it.

The problem is that when we open a project some shapefiles loose their paths, so we have to upload the paths everytime that we open a project.

We never change the location of these shapefiles and this problem happens mostly in some shapefiles.

Did anyone experienced this problem? Can anyone try to solve it?

HI Andreia,

Try saving your map document with the option 'Store relative pathnames to data sources'.  See the section 'Absolute and relative paths in ArcMap' in the following link:
