match a river shapefile to the Basemap

Hello,

I'm trying to match a river shapefile to the edges of the same river in a Basemap layer. The closer you zoom in the more you can see of the basemap edges. Is there a way to fill this in sort of flush-like?

Jared,

the only thing you can do is, open ArcGIS Desktop and create a  river polygon, add the basemap and trace the river. Once you add this polygon to ArcGIS Online it will cover the basemap river.

Or you could make the line thicker in ArcGIS Online.
