Default Point Symbol

Question asked by berniejconnors on May 28, 2014
When I drag and drop a GPX file onto a web map the default point symbol is a little, black square.  This symbol is nearly impossible to see on an air photo.  Can you see all four symbols in this image? (click image for larger image)

(HINT: the symbols are at the corners of the property)

I know the symbols can be changed after the GPX file is added to the map but I am trying to make the preview of a GPX file as simple as possible for novice users.  Is it possible to set the default symbol for a web map?  Here is the web map I am using.  And here is a sample GPX file:

Thanks,
Bernie.
