Inconsistent extent when trying to add wms from ArcGIS Server to ArcMap

When I try to add a wms-service from ArcGIS Server to ArcMap, I get the error message "Inconsistent extent" [ATTACH=CONFIG]29433[/ATTACH]

If i try to add the service with an ArcGIS Server connection it works fine. Does anyone know what the problem is?

For what reason can I add the same service trough a ArcGIS Server connection without getting this message? I only get the message when I add the service as a wms
