KML to Layer

Question asked by geonetadmin on May 14, 2013

i have a kml layer that shows up as starting point, an ending point, and the route travelled in between the two along with time stamps etc. this file shows up normally in google maps etc but when i try to import into arcgis using "KML to Layer" i only get to see two points and not the route travelled or any line depicting the path. i tried other application free online and they come out with same results of two points in kml file.
Is there a way to get the line that relates to the path travelled between the two points?

the kml file is generated from "My Tracks" app on android and is exported as *.KML file.
