We recently ran into two strange incidents of losing edited data. We are using ArcGIS Desktop 10.0 SP3 to edit feature classes in ArcSDE 9.3.1. SP2. We do not use named versions. All users (2 to 3 editors) throw edits into Default. All edits were accounted for immediately after editing time and they appeared in web GIS applications, which means they edits have been saved/commited. But a few days later, those new edits disappeared. We checked state_ids among A and D tables and SDE.STATES table and don't see obvious reasons (all state_ids for A and D are in SDE.STATES table, and all shapes in B, A, D tables are in F.FID). Has anybody experienced this before? How can we check the integraty of edits among the B, F, A and D tables. We are still using SDE Binary.
