Dear all,
I have a road 2500kms long, that I buffered (by 5km) to create a single polygon. I want to split this buffer every km lengthwise (ie. i want 2500 polygons of 1km length and 10km width).
Like all normal roads, this one twists and turns, so I expect all polygons will not necessarily be square and uniform 1km, but that's okay.
Any ideas? I've been beating my head over this for days now! (I can use either ArcGIS 9.3 or 10.) Any help will be much appreciated.
