I have data with the right date format in my mxd and the Playback Manager works fine. But when i want to see only the most current and set "Display only the most current events in the layer" in the option
Time/Events i still get all data?

In 9.3 there was no problem to do this!

Horst,

I've attached the hurricanes2000 data that is used for the exercises for Tracking Analyst in ArcTudor.  After using this data to create a temporal layer and for the symbology make sure that 'Events' and 'Most Current Events' are both check marked and see if this functions correctly.  This is just to make sure there is no potential problem with your ArcGIS.

If the above works fine I'd suggest testing with your data and trying a view different formats like dbase, file geodatabase table, personal geodatabase table and see if the issue can be reproduced.

Regards,
Jason
