Here's the deal; during a meeting my boss asked if I could stack multiple point symbols (accidents) perpendicular to a line feature (road). "Of course I can! That's easy in GIS!" Me and my big mouth...
She wants to see all the factors that are associated with a that accident point. Alcohol, excessive speed, ice, trees etc. These attributes are in different fields in the table. I was able to symbolize pretty well using the 'Categories/Unique values, many fields' function. My problem is that I can't stack the symbols perpendicular road and create a 'visual histogram' of accidents with lots of factors. Any ideas o' wise ones?
