This error is killing me!!

Hello every one,

when executing (Split) Tool - ArcToolBax (ArcMap) - the following error appears :ERROR 999999: Error executing function.A locator with this name does not exist.Failed to execute (Split).

Anyone can help!!

have you tried taking the space out of your target name?

Did you type the name of your workspace, or select it from the folder selection dialog? If you typed it, check your spelling (ie. "Tutorails" vs. "Tutorials").

Well, I selected it, and I have tried to take the space out but this error still exist!!

well, I tried to store the output in geodatabase, dataset, a normal folder ... but the error still exist... I made this in more than one computer but the error is still exist ..

Ok, did anybody try split tool? is it works?...or it's a bug ? I have tried many many time but the error is the same!!!

Copy the data to your local C:\ drive and then try to execute the tool.  This could be an issue writing to your network drive.
