Looking for a tool like "combine" that keeps the original values in the combined rasters!

please, have a look on the attached images that shows my question


if the rasters are combined using the "combine" tool, then the fields in the result raster don't contain the same values that are existing in the original raster!!!!!!

for example,

the values in the flowtype raster are type d, type e and in the combined raster they are 1 and 2
the values in the surfacecat are a, b, c, d but in the combined raster they are 1, 2, 3 and 4


very confusing!

is there a tool like "combine" but keeps the values as they are?

Combine retains only the VALUE field of the input rasters (not: only if all the values are not NODATA, also only integer values are retained - no floats). It would be up to you to provide the lookup tables to get back to other attributes such as SURFACECAT.
