I'm struggling mightily with the new ArcCatalog version 10.
When I try to use basic features from ArcCatalog I get
lots of dialogs "error on page" and have to click "Run active X control"
repeatedly.  It's extremely frustrating.

Here's one way to reproduce the problem I'm seeing.

1. Establish a connection to some geodatabase.
2. Right-click on that connection and pick Import, then Feature Class

3. In the "Feature Class to Feature Class" dialog, click on the
   button "Environments...".

The result for me is a new dialog:

     Internet Explorer Script Error
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
     Line: 131
     Char: 4
     Error: Invalid pointer
     Code: 0
     URL:  file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/clott/Application%20Data/ESRI/Desktop10.0/ArcToolbox/Dlg/MdDlgContent.htm

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

    Anyhow I click "Yes".

At the top of the Environment Settings dialog I now see "This
website wants to run the following add-on: 'ArcGIS Product Version
Library' from 'ESRI (unverified publisher)'.  If you trust the
website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here..."

Heck I wasn't aware I was visiting a web site.  Anyhow I click there
and pick "Run ActiveX control", then a new dialog pops up "Internet
Explorer - Security Warning" and on that dialog I click the Run

Then the dialog "Internet Explorer Script Error" reappears and I go
thru the whole process again.  I did this about 10 times then gave
up, I'm not an infinite loop processor.  Does the process ever end?

I am working on a Windows XP machine with the Internet Options security
setting to "Medium High" which I suspect has to be scaled WAY back.

Anyone else?  Did I miss a critical note in the installation directions?
