ArcMap getting hanged

Hello,

I am working on ArcGIS 10.0. When I start ArcMap, add some layer and then press zoom to that layer then the the ArcMap gets hanged and the process gets cancelled. Please help me out in resolving the issue.

There may be something wrong with the file, so run a Repair Geometry on it and see if there are any geometry errors.

I have run Repair Geometry on it, but is still doesn't work... also i have cleared all the caches. FYI: I have created this MXD 10 to 15 days ago.
