Are there particular settings at the IIS level for the Geoevent?

As the Geoevent is communicated via https instead of http, is there any particular settings at the level of the IIS to let it work?

Thank you

Best

Hi Jamal,

In all my use of GeoEvent I haven't had to make any special adjustments in settings to IIS.

Many thanks Cam,

Then why I couldn’t start the GeoEvent manager?

https://localhost:6143/geoevent/manager/index.html

Does it work with http instead of https?

Hello Jamal,

I am experiencing the same problem.  Have you been able to resolve this issue?

Thank you,

Hi Mark,

I have been advised to open the “wrapper.log” file stored in the path below:

C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\GeoEventProcessor\data\log

This should tell the reason why the GeoEvent manager doesn’t start.

Ahhh ... so it wasn't that IIS settings needed to change to have you access GeoEvent manager but rather that GeoEvent manager wasn't actually running!

Thanks for the update Jamal Miah
