Hello,

Well, sometimes  it's necessary for me to edit Rasterimages in ArcMap. There are some Features inside arcscan (for vectorization),

but i need more. I found an old Rastertool (Raster Editor) in VB6 from Esri. This Tool doesn't work with ArcMap 10.

Maybe somebody have already ported this for ArcGIS 10?

Thanks

Denis

There is a tool for this: ARIS Grid & Raster Editor for ArcMap (http://www.aris.nl/gridrastereditor_arcmap) This tool is available for ArcGIS 9.x (only ESRI GRID) and ArcGIS 10.x (also many other raster formats like: BIL, BIP, BSQ, ENVI, Erdas IMG, FGDBR, (Geo)TIFF, ...

Many common drawing tools can be used on raster data like: pencil/freehand, line, polygon, paintcan, replace specific values, selection area. In the above example a pen size of 3 cells is used (but you can also edit with a size of 1 cell).

The ARIS Grid & Raster Editor for ArcMap has extended its support to edits on multi-band RGB rasters. Using the RGB Composite renderer you can edit 1, 2 or 3 bands at the same time for the bands set to the Red, Green and Blue channel.

Of course all the drawing tools available for the single band rasters can be used for multi-band rasters.Below an example using the Polygon tool:

Available for all current ArcGIS 10 versions (10.0 - 10.4):
