I have been tasked with opening/editing/creating a .gbfs file. Anybody out there know how I can go about doing this?
It looks like it's a proprietary format from Telogis/GeoBase and they seem to have a tight hold on it. I think you'll have to look at their SDK or APIs.
Are you sure they didn't mean .gdb? GDB is the file extension for File Geodatabases.
If they meant GBF, I found the following link that may be of some help:
How to Open GBF Files - File Extension GBF
Unfortunately no. We're using a 3rd party package for our bus routing and tracking. The background map is the .gbfs file. To get updates from them takes upwards of 6 mo. So we're looking to do it ourselves.
Here's the file name "USATexas.gbfs" I've been told it's associated with "GeoBase" but I'm not finding any answers there.
