We are in the process of defining a job description for a Spatial DBA or Spatial Administrator. What are the typical responsibilities of such a position in an organisation of 1,000+ people, with 50 core GIS users accessing a Corporate ArcGIS 10.2.2 database built on Oracle 11gR2? Would this role typically be combined with that of the Oracle DBA? Would Analytical responsibilities be appropriate? Any and all feedback much appreciated!
