GeoNet doesn't display too god on my mobile device so I was wondering if there's a plan to optimize it or to create an app in the future? That will be very helpful!
This was discussed in the MVP forum and Timothy Hales mentioned that the initial release of GeoNet did not have good mobile support but they were looking at adding features to better support Mobile to GeoNet now that the initial release is done.
Robert is right on with this. We are working on a responsive design to be release later this fall.
That would be a great enhancement!
The beauty of "private forums" is that if there ever is any content that is important enough, it needs to be repeated for the general population (providing someone in the general population accidentally asks the right question).
Over the weekend we released an update to improve the GeoNet experience on mobile devices. Check it out.

It looks pretty horrible on my iPhone 5... text and items overlapping all over the place on the reputation page.
Thanks for pointing that out. The mobile experience is in beta and improving it is a priority for us. Please feel free to post more suggestions and feedback. If possible, screen shots are always a big help.
On my ipad it looks pretty good. Occasionally the Portait view cuts off the profile-icon pull-down list, but switching to landscape and back again seems to have corrected the problem.
In my.esri on the my.organizations page, some of the tables (i.e. the downloads table) can be tricky to scroll thru (not much scrolling whitesapce), but then again chances someone will need to download on an ipad is zero to none, I suspect. The authorizations tables also can be hard to scroll. This is in portrait mode for both. Landscrape, no issues.
So for me, so far it seems to be a better experience.
It looks pretty well on my Android device (Moto G). No overlapping text.
Yes, as of 8/25, the first run of the "responsive design" view is pretty nice. Will need to get under the covers on this but so far, looks very good. As a side note, I'd think if GeoNet really takes off, the native app might be the way to go since we could then get notifications and such on our devices.
It looks pretty good on my Android (Samsung S4). Thanks!
I can see posts alright on my s4 but whats the deal with having to pan way off to the right to check my in box?
Thanks Joe, we will look into that.
Just wanted to update that we have implemented a change so that your inbox is now in view so that you do not have to scroll off the page to access those items. Please let me know if you see any further issues.
It looks pretty cool. Thanks for the update!
