Most of the pages I visit in Geonet never completely load. The Chrome loading thingy keeps whirling and a chunk of processor is always being used.
I can not say that I have noticed this issue. I am on GeoNet all day on multiple machines (normally using FireFox) and have not seen that issue.
Ditto on Robert's statement except using IE11
Odd - maybe our environment.
One GOOD thing about Geonet is that the Style sheets actually get through our three firewalls and other random filters. the old site didn't resulting in sometimes unstyled pages.
I would check with your IT staff and see if your firefall is blocking any of the GeoNet content.
I am the IT staff - well part of. We checked a lot on the old site to see what was blocking it, but failed. Likewise, it's impossible to use AGOL internally - that one just goes around in a never ending refresh loop that eventually hits our flood controls and then locks my PC internet connection for 15 minutes!
So are you actually using a hardware firewall appliance? When our IT staff checks our SonicWall appliance they can see what traffic is being blocked and they will add an exception if deemed necessary.
I think at last count we had three firewalls of different types.
this is a minor issue, at least I can use this site, despite all its failings, where as the old forums was unusable behind our walls.
