Hi community,
I recently noticed that ESRI have changed the default cache tile size (in ArcGIS Server) from 512x512 in v9.3 to 256x256 in v10.1.
I know there is a large pros and cons list around which tile size is best to use based on such issues as: client-side loading, labelling in vector caches, tile generation speed, etc; but I was wondering if anyone has a clear idea of why this is now the recommended tile size from ESRI.
