Hello All,

Operations Dashboard is currently our end-user viewing application for AVL and some other real-time feeds.  Currently, when setting up a Web Map in AGOL, you cannot add SECONDS in the date/time format for popups.  We poll our vehicles at either 10 or 20 second intervals and cannot see change in time for a minute.

Would you all please consider voting for my idea at ideas.arcgis.com to correct this issue?

Thank you!

Hello Adam,

You can set polling down to 1 sec in Ops dashboard - and as it is your end-user viewing application for real-time data, you should be fine!

Look upon web maps as starting points for creating operational views in which you can tweak things like polling time on feature services, adding widgets for features etc etc.

Also as long as you create your operational view as Single Display, you can open them directly in a web browser.

Anyway, I will go ahead and give u my wote since there is no reason why not web maps could be a bit more responsive, even though this has nothing to do with the ops dashboard.

Rgds,

/Erik

Thanks for the vote Erik!

The issue is NOT polling, it is the lack of seconds in the time field within the popup settings for ArcGIS Online

The popup is not configurable to show seconds:  August 12, 2014 11:03 AM.  I want 11:03:52 AM.

Thanks!

Erik,

No worries.  I hope my response didn't seem cruel.  I was trying to restate the issue with more clarity than my original post, but it probably came off in the wrong manner.  Sorry!

Thank you for the vote!
