Hi,
We are trying to use a SSL connection from our GIS Server - 10.2.1, to add an item to Arc Online. I am adding the REST URL to the add item tool, but the tool isn't allowing me to add a password to verify the service. I have added an image showing the page (with the full URL removed from view). Any ideas on how we can get it to authenticate?
Thanks
James
Are you using the token based authentication of ArcGIS Server? Web server authentication is not supported.
Mike
Hi Mike,
We are using token based authentication, on our ArcGIS Server application it reads -
User Store: | ArcGIS Server Built-in |
Role Store: | ArcGIS Server Built-in |
Authentication Tier: | GIS Server |
Authentication Mode: | ArcGIS Tokens |
Thanks
Were you able to get this working? If not, I'd suggest contacting Esri technical support as we would need to reproduce the problem, and maybe hit your server if possible.
Thanks,
Mike
Is ArcGIS.com subscription account running on https? If not then you can try enabling ssl on arcgis.com as well.
My organization>edit settings>security..
Have seen some issues with adding cross content, due to mis-match between the 2 protocols.
