I'm starting to write a GeoEvent Output and have been looking at the KML adapter which has me a little confused. The KML adapter appears to be making an assumption about the contents of the map, namely that each list of events in the map is a track. I looked in the GeoEvent Processor Developer Guide for information about the map that is supplied to the OutputAdapter via the processData() method but could find none.
What is the significance, if any, for using a map to supply GeoEvents to the output adapter?
Are the keys in any particular order?
Are the events in any particular order?
