Hi,

The documentation states that you can upload a zipped File Geodatabase to AGOL:

http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/arcgisonline/index.html#//010q0000000m000000

However, when I try and do so from the Add Content dialog (from "My Content") it will not recognize the file, and File Geodatabase is not an option in the dialog (see image).

Is the documentation incorrect or is there another way to add a file Geodatabase?

TIA,

Greg

A colleague provided a workaround: when uploading the .zip, choosing Desktop Application Template or Map Template as the type will upload the file. Others types may work as well (Shapefile does not). Of course, the item type will be listed incorrectly on ArcGIS Online but the file Geodatabase will be available for download.

I suspect that this may be as simple as a problem with the upload file dialog.
