I'm running ArcGIS for Server 10.1 with SQL Server 2012.

When I try to create a geodata service from data within an SDE database I get an error.

The database is registered with the server and when I click Analyze in the Service Editor nothing comes up.

But the second I hit publish, I get the following message:

I checked the Server logs, but nothing is in there.

I have no idea why I'm getting this message.

I closed ArcCatalog and tried again.

This time it got passed the previous error message and looked like it was going to publish the geodata service, but right at the end it gives me this message:

So I hit okay and the Service Editor is still up which I close and it asks me if I want to save a draft which I click No.

Now the weird thing is that I can see the "MyGeoDataService" on the server. So it's like it created it.

But when I try to create a replica from the server, it fails too.

Here are the error messages from the Server log.

We would like to be able to use this feature with clients, so it'd be nice to figure out what's wrong.

Okay, so I've manged to create a replica from the Geodata service even though it said publishing failed.

But I'm thinking that message is because I shared it with ArcGIS online. Can you not share the Geodata service on there?

Is that why I got the failed to publish message?

Now my issues with Creating the replica from server.

When I choose the Geodata service I created and choose Select All for the Datasets it fails.

But if I just choose one of the Datasets the replica works.

What is going on here?
