Hi Robert, Can you let me know how to point a custom widget to a new panel?  I am configuring a widget with some custom code and would like the information from the widget to be displayed in a panel (rather than a pop-up).  I also would like the panel to be opened and permanently displayed in the application - similar to how you have the panel showing here:  Flood Zone Lookup    Thanks for your tips! Debbie

Debbie,

The Flood zone lookup app you reference is a custom JS API app So adding a panel is no big deal. If you have no experience developing custom themes that would allow for a fixed panel like this then I would suggest using the Jewelry box theme and place your widget in the Jewelry box drawer.

Thank you, I converted the theme to Jewelry Box theme.  Can you point me where to find the 'Jewelry box drawer'?

Debbie,

That is the panel on the left side of the theme.

Hi Robert, just a heads up about your Live Preview site. It's showing an error:

Unable to load the base map layer (Unable to load https://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Topo_Map/MapServer?f=json status: 0 [url:http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Topo_Map/MapServer])‍

Yeah, it’s Firefox that’s the problem. It even works in IE.
