Updated post:

Here is my pictometry widget. It's just a way to open a link in a new window to your Pictometry.

Demo link ArcGIS Web Application

GitHub link to code:  kevinsagis/Pictometry-for-WebApp-Builder · GitHub

Per the Read Me I will look into building the option to put Pictometry imagery into the popup inline as well. I've already had success putting video and other stuff in popups so hopefully this won't be too bad. Note also the capability to use your organization's internal EFS viewer with this as well! We use this as well as the Connect Online on Pictometry's cloud.  Instructions for both of these implementations are below, including how to use the required php file.

Here's a Streetview widget that operates similarly:

***Update 5/18: New update posted. You can directly enter your server URL in the WebApp Builder in the widget configuration setup. For now it's just the Pictometry Online Connect (IPA).  I will add the internal link field later today or tomorrow.  See the Read Me.txt included for the common URL path formatting for Pictometry.

Andrew:

My supervisor was told by a rep from Pictometry that they would probably be working on something for WAB but there wasn't a timeline provided, nor was it delivered as a definite 'yes' to building a widget.  I have also been in contact with a few Pictometry staff members regarding our imagery but haven't heard of a WAB widget from them.  I can't say I asked about it though.

I called our contact there. They are indeed working on a WAB widget. It may or may not go full screen, like mine, which goes to a new window. That is one consideration. Since they are working on an inline version I may not add that to mine, unless I have time later on.  However, I like how since it's a new tab / window, the user can decide how big they want it. Usually we want to see imagery in full screen. Or a separate screen, so we can look between ortho and oblique.

They don't have a development timeline yet. In the meantime you're welcome to use my widget and I will be happy to answer any questions or take new ideas for it.  Thank you all for the feedback and comments thus far.

I will be at the Pictometry Conference in Nashville! Anyone else going?  The Pictometry tech team will be there and I look forward to it.

They were really great to work with, we have set up both their internal viewer ("EFS") both Flash and Javascript, and the Pictometry Connect Online IPA on their cloud, and we have deployed the ArcMap Desktop toolbar. All of these are used extensively by our local government.

Great widget, Kevin. One question - how might I get it to function on touch-screen devices? I've played around a bit with the code, but I can't seem to get it to acknowledge touch events. I've noticed it works on your demo site, so maybe I missed something somewhere.

Thanks,
Jay

Referring to Jay's question above, we have had a few users say they can't get the widget to work on their iPhones.  We've tested it on a couple Androids and its worked there.  Any thoughts on what might be happening?

Jay Geisen‌ what phone are you using? It works on my Galaxy Note 4 on Chrome. As implemented on www.sagis.org for example. Adam Gebhart‌ what version iPhone? I do not have an iPhone but I will try and grab a coworker's to test!

I'm using an iPhone, running iOS 11.2.5. I've also tried it on an iPad running the latest version. I think it's probably an iOS thing. The strange thing is that your test site works fine for me on my iOS devices.

My coworker tried it on the iPhone6s.  I have an Android phone and it works ok.

Kevin,

Are you using different code on here: http://sagiscloud.thempc.org/pictometrywidget/ ?

Because that site works fine on iPhones/iPads. Could it have anything to do with the version of WAB?

Thanks,
Jay

Hi! Kevin

We used this link to view Oblique image. Does your code work with this?
