We have some sensititve information that is handled just by the police dept and I was wondering that we have a existing public safety WAB application. Is there a way or widget that we can have it be password protected.

Devarsi,

You have a couple of options.

  1. don't share the webmap with public access. This will cause all viewers to have to log in to AGOL.
  2. If you are familiar with .Net development then add a .Net wrapper around the site that is password protected. Meaning instead if it being index.html your main page would be index.aspx and that aspx page would be password protected.

Robert without a .Net wrapper and without limiting the sharing on ArcGIS Online, is there a way for some maps deployed to arcGIS server to have a password protection while others dont.
