Image service processing templates into web app

I have built my web app on top of an image service.  The image service has five different processing templates (natural colour, false colour, ndvi, etc).  When I create the web app, only the natural colour image is available.

Is there some way to make all five other processing templates (or renderers) available in the web app?

Going to answer my own question here since I've found a decent solution.

As far as I can see, there is no widget which directly pulls different image service processing templates into a web app. Instead you have to create one layer for each processing template in the web map.  The web app will then create one layer for each.
