We all agree that the Water Utilities Model is great for maintaining a geometric network and keeping an up-to-date atlas of the system, mainly transmission and distribution.  Has anyone tried to use GIS for infrastructure within the treatment plant? If so, what products did you use? We have all these record drawings of our various buildings within the plant campus and we want to build an atlas of the 2D plans.  Maybe interior space models?

Yes, I am also interested in an existing data model for Water Treatment Plants.  We have implemented the water distribution data model, and now need to add all of the equipment inside the treatment plants.  I found this document from 2008 by searching, which we will use as a starting point if there isn't a newer data model.
