How Can I solve this? I have re-checked my model in ArcGIS multiple times, but I am unable to export the basin model file. I receive this Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a cell to a COM component…. I am saving and processing total project in C:/ drive.(Using ArcGis10.4 & HEC-HMS 4.2)

Welcome to the forum.

There are several reasons this error comes up. ESRI provides this page.

http://resources.esri.com/help/9.3/arcgisengine/dotnet/a3bd05c8-64a6-4dd4-acb3-0d10b021f2f8.htm#Erro...

I wrote this about it in 2014. I assume it is still valid. https://community.esri.com/thread/114219

The same question is also posted here with some replies including my own.

Hope this helps,

Mark

hello mark, I've followed the advice and input from this community, to solve the same problem I'm experiencing, but still don't want to solve the problem, I'm having problems using hec geo hms, during catchment polygon processing.

hi mark.
one solution you mentioned was to save to c drive, that's what i did. other solution; For the HRESULT they were 10 digit decimals but that's how my x and y coordinates are. There are multiple shapefiles, should I fix all 10 digit decimals? Finally, ESRI removed the first file you specified. How do I solve it another way? :(((( Thank you from now.
