Hello everyone..!!!, I have a question. I downloaded the MODIS ET data and it says that the units of the rasters are (kg/m^2/8day). But I would like to know how to convert that into ET (mm/day)? Please let me know. I highly appreciate it. Thank you. Best, Kushan.

Hello Everyone, I have a question. I am working with ET (Evapotranspiration) data from MODIS and it says that unit for ET kg/m²/8day with (range cell values: -32767 to 32700) with 0.1 scale factor. I would like to know, can I directly use these values and units after multiplying with scale factor for the scientific publications. Or is there any other way to convert these values?.I saw some publications of ET with mm/day units. So I need to know what is the exact correct unit for ET with MODIS product? Best, Kushan

Hello Everyone, I have two final raster images produced. EWTcanopy and ET layers. They do have different columns and row numbers in the raster image but the same number of the cell values. My question is how can we adjust both rasters into images with the same number of columns and rows?. Please see the screenshots of two raster images attached herewith. I appreciate your expert knowledge in this regard. Thank you. Best, Kushan.Aditya PeriAlexandra GajewskiAllen ThompsonAndrew RossRebecca McKinley

Hello Everyone, I will go straight into the question. I am doing my master's research in flood and drought changes assessment in terms of ecological responses such as vegetation indices, land use pattern changes. Hence, I must calculate Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI), Leaf Area Index (LAI), Evapotranspiration (ET), Land surface temperature (LST), Global Vegetation Moisture Index (GVMI), (EWT) equivalent water thickness and show the pattern variations before and after the floods and droughts. However, so far, I have created these layers in the GIS. I tried them with linking the attribute tables with Object IDs in some layers. For example (EVI and ET). Then I realized that number of object IDs in layers are different from one to another. If I am going to link the object IDS most of the data are getting missed as they do not have the same number of object IDs to plot the variations and if I am going to “join” it by the attribute tables, it does not represent the entire river basin that I am working (not a representative approach). Therefore, I would like to know how to generate a representative pattern for my basin avoiding this constraint? Thank you Best, Kushan.
