Trying to add new data from an excel file into an existing layer with same information in Arcmap. How would a go about doing that?

Was wondering if someone can help me. I'm adding about 20 new gps points from excel and when everything comes over all the data comes except the Longitude column shows all zeros instead of what it's suppose to say. Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong. Thanks

I got a question, I'm adding about 20 gps points and when i go to add them the Longitude data doesn't come over! Everything else comes over, any ideas what i'm doing wrong. It's from an excel file. also how do you add new gps data to an existing layer Thanks

Thanks for the help, I set the transparency on street layer and found problem! The street sizes are different in each map causing this issue for me!

Is there any way to fix this the coordinate seems to match, My data is accurate with imagery basemap, but then I add the street basemap my data is off!

Why do my gps points show up in different spots on 2 different basemaps! They aren't off very much, but enough to notice it!

I’m getting things sorted out! Just talked to how did the gps points and there was 2 different coordinated systems used! Got the lat and long coordinates now so hopefully solve my issues! Thanks

My mistake, not in decimal degrees! I changed it to WGS 84 and the points disappear from the basemap!
