Hi from sunny Australia, We have a lot of clients that love the idea of ArcGIS Online but can't use it due to data sovereignty issues. It would be great if an organisation could choose the storage region(s) that applies to them. This would prove a great intermediate step for clients that see hosted ArcGIS Enterprise deployments or internal ArcGIS Enterprise solutions as cost prohibitive.

Thanks Jake, I did get to that point, however to my second point, do you know the properties I need to provide to create a new website in IIS? As you would be aware the default web site is linked to a virtual directory. Can I add a folder that is empty e.g. c:\folderForIIS just so I can create a site, or do I need atleast an index.html? I'm not an IIS expert, so extra information would be great. Cheers, Gareth

Hi everyone, I am trying to write an app that creates a feature service, however I am seeing some strange things (or it might/hopefully just be me). I won't go into each iteration I have tried but I will summarise some of the results and comments. var j sonFS = appFolder .fileUrl( "featureService.json" ) console .log( jsonFS ) addPortalItemWithJson ( newTracklog , jsonFS ) using a local file file:// (FileFolder.fileUrl from AppFramework) successfully creates the item but when I look at the service in ArcGIS.com I get an error loading the table in the data tab. Could you please be specific to what actually has to go into this file. I copied a previous feature layer JSON content and saved it to a file. I have attached a link at the bottom. Also the service URL is malformed. addPortalItemWithUrl(newTracklog, https://services.arcgis.com/ZN2A4THMtsVQ15wW/ArcGIS/rest/services/TestLocationTrackingLayer/FeatureServer) addPortalItemWithUrl(newTracklog, " https://www.dropbox.com/s/b8mvzyo82108irw/featureService.json ", jsonFS) Using a http:// file successfully added the item by using a feature service url but now the service url is pointing to the original feature service. It has effectively made a layer view. Once again what am I supposed to do with this. Also tested with a url outside of the environment and get a successful creation but invalid data. Hi all, I have taken the local notification app and simply added the schedule method inside the notifcation onTriggered event so that I can get continuous alerts, however it stops after three messages. Works fine on Windows, don't have an android to test. Cheers, Gareth

Hi all, In Portal we can see if the user has disconnected their license: When you place your cursor over the colored square it will let you know when the expiry date is. I have seen user.lastLogin property but was wondering if there is anyway getting to license bit: user.connected (bool) or something else? Thanks in advance, Gareth
