While building address locators to eventually use in a composite locator I keep seeing the term SingleKey. Can someone explain to me what it actually is? Does it just refer to the attribute field the locator was built off? If not, should I replace the SingleKey field with the actual field(s) I want to use for input mapping and input address fields? Any clarification would be help as I cannot find any ESRI reference material describing SingleKey. Thanks! Jot

Mark, thank you for looking into this. Yea, I'm not sure what went wrong, but i clearly screwed up something. And thank you for creating a working .vtpk! It's about 1/3 of the size of the one I created that didn't work, so that's great too! Thanks again Kindly, Jot

Mark, Yes, I can share. Do you have a specific group I should share the mmpk with just my vktp to? Kindly, Jot

So is this the reason why, even after I follow these steps, I get an 'invalid map' response when I download and try to open in Explorer app on my iPad and iPhone? In addition to this, your IPad App will also need to know how to use the custom style associated with the Vector Tile Package, this work is being done in ArcGIS Runtime update 7 - both Pro and Runtime updates schedule to be complete before the end of this year. If so, do you have a better time frame as to when the Runtime update will happen? Or has it already happened and I need to manually update something on my ios devices?

I would like to use one of esri's basemaps like: streets, navigation or topographic as a layer, along with my own parcel and address point data to create a vector tile package. Is this possible? I am working on building a mobile map package along with water infrastructure data that can be used in ArcGIS Explorer as a reference map when field crews need something to view in an offline environment. I was thinking if I could use the already existing basemaps when creating a .vktp it could cut down on some of my build and re-build time of an offline reference map for Explorer. Any thoughts or answers would be helpful! Thanks, Jot

No, it still does not work the way I'd like while using the find tool. The only difference I can tell from previous locator tools we've created and used and what we're trying to build now is the input field description. Single Line Input: for old working locator compared to: Full Address Input: does not work the way I'd like Is this the issue? do I need my locator to accept single line input and not full address? if so, how do I do that. Again. Also, if I use in ArcPro it works. Just not in ArcMap. But, I need it to work in ArcMap. All properties the same. If you don't think the input description is part of the issue, I can look into sharing the locator and let you review further. Thanks!

I'm using the same single house locator, I built locally, in both Pro 2.2.4 and ArcMap 10.6.1. And when searching addresses in Pro it works better. My issue is I do not want to have to type out the exact address to return a match. And in Pro I don't have to but in ArcMap I do. Example in Pro: search for: 123 main will return a match for: 123 west main ave, (State name) In ArcMap: search for: 123 main won't return a match. I would need to type out the whole address: 123 west main ave, (State name) to get a match. Question: Is there setting or property of some sort I need to adjust to get the locator to function more leniently in ArcMap? Like it does in Pro? Again, using the exact same locator in both.

I'm creating a new point FC from an existing point FC. I have 600,000 address points in my database and a department a my work wants their own service point FC using the address point FC as a template. The catch is they don't want them to overlay the address point FC on the map. My question, how can I do a mass shift to slightly move the position of these new service points off of the existing address point I copied them from?

Joel Whitney and mbockenhauer-esristaff, Thank you for the helpful tips and suggestions! Between your help and my own trouble shooting of my data (one of my layers spatial extent needed recalculated) I've been able to solve my problem and create a quicker rendering and more responsive .mmpk with a smaller file size! Kindly, Jot Hall
