Wound up working around this behavior by creating/hosting an html page with the desired link behavior and then using 'embedded content' to reference the page in the dashboard.

Hello! It seems like through trial and error, what we are trying to do may not be possible, but i wanted to confirm and fish for alternate ideas... From a dashboard, we are presenting some links to additional charts and pages that supplement the data. Ideally, these links would be presented in a specifically sized pop up window, rather than a new tab. The following works well in a stand alone web page -- but when embedded in the Rich Text element of my dashboard, it creates both the pop up and a new tab. <p><a href="http://www.esri.com" onclick="window.open('http://www.esri.com','SODAR','height=500,width=650'); return false;" >SODAR Chart</a></p> We are currently using Portal 10.6.1. I did this same test in online and noticed the on-click portion was stripped from configuration. thanks for any thoughts or recommendations you have! jess

Hi Derek -- We have incorporated a filter for this dashboard -- and when the division filter is applied, the chart looks good. Only the groups for the selected division show up in the chart. because that filter is used to adjust other indicators/charts, we need to be able to show all divisions at once -- i think having a second filter for the same data just for that chart might be a little weird. The chart we are basing this off of (from Tableau), the chart with all divisions is pretty readable because null data is hidden. unfortunately, i can't share this data - otherwise i'd post it. Hoping I'll have a chance to talk further about this work with you or someone from the team at UC. thanks for your suggestions! hope you are doing good also --

Thanks, Derek! no worries! After posting this, I was working on some different charts and had the same thought - that perhaps there was a bug. I'll submit something to tech support. thank you!

Hello! We are building out a revenue chart that shows revenue by Division broken out by the groups within that division. We're using Operations Dashboard in Portal 10.6.1. In this case, each division has different group names -- and when the chart draws with all the data, there's a lot of empty categories for each Division group. Is there a way to remove those empty placeholders? Thanks for any ideas you might have out there!

Heya! We are working on a weather dashboard that includes the current value along with a chart showing the values from the past 24 hrs (at most 96 values for a particular weather tower). The source table for the charts contains all values for all towers (5 towers total) for 48 hours -- but is then filtered at run time to show only the last 24 hours for one tower. When the charts draw, they all show this "Show all" button. and when you click it, maybe more data comes in (though the overall trend of the chart doesn't change), but the lines for the values change -- and it's confusing for our users. Is there a way to turn the "Show all" thing off or prevent it from displaying? Perhaps there's something in the way it's configured causing it to show up? We are using Portal 10.6.1 for this one... Charts when the dashboard first loads.... and after clicking "Show all"
